Louis Vuitton Launches First-Ever Makeup Line with Pat McGrath Leading the Charge

Pat McGrath (Louis Vuitton)

Louis Vuitton is expanding its empire into luxury beauty, and it’s bringing in Pat McGrath to lead the way. The iconic makeup artist has been named creative director of La Beauté Louis Vuitton, the brand’s first-ever makeup line, set to debut in Autumn 2025.

McGrath, who has been behind the scenes of Louis Vuitton runway looks for over 20 years, has spent the past four years developing the line. Known for her groundbreaking beauty moments—from early 2000s Dior glam to the viral Margiela “glass skin” look—she continues to push boundaries, all while running her own brand, Pat McGrath Labs, since 2015.

The collection is set to deliver a full luxury beauty experience, featuring 55 lipsticks, 10 lip balms, and eight eye palettes, along with Louis Vuitton-designed leather accessories, including lipstick cases and miniature trunks to house the products.

“The beauty universe is about so much more than just product, and what we are creating here will unlock a new level in luxury beauty,” McGrath told British Vogue.
