Cardi B and rumors surrounding her love life are picking up again after the rapper was spotted sharing another night out with Nigerian soccer star Maduka Okoye, this time during an upscale group dinner in Venice, Italy.

Cardi and Okoye were seated beside each other while dining with several other men at Gio’s restaurant inside the St. Regis Venice. The restaurant overlooks one of the city’s famous canals, giving the gathering a romantic backdrop even though the pair were not reportedly alone.
Cardi arrived in a plunging turquoise dress while Okoye appeared relaxed and smiling beside her. According to TMZ, the rapper chatted with others at the table while showing off her long nails.
Not quite enough evidence has arrived to answer that question. Per the outlet, “there was no PDA” during the dinner. However, the outlet added that Cardi and Okoye “certainly seemed comfortable sharing another night out with friends.”
A person who reportedly observed the gathering told TMZ that the group was spotted from the hotel while a fireworks show was taking place. Cardi and Okoye had reportedly just received their food and appeared to be enjoying the evening with everyone at the table.
The Cardi B dating rumors would probably be easier to dismiss if this were the first time she and Okoye had been seen together. Instead, the Venice dinner comes less than two weeks after their interaction during Paris Fashion Week sent fans into detective mode.
Cardi and Okoye sat beside each other at a Paris Fashion Week event on July 8. A video circulating from the event showed the Nigerian goalkeeper helping Cardi settle into her seat before sitting beside her.
The brief interaction quickly spread across social media as fans commented on how comfortable the two appeared together. What began as a gentlemanly gesture became the first piece of evidence used by fans who were already open to seeing Cardi paired with someone new.
The strongest reality check surrounding the Cardi B dating speculation remains the fact that neither person has announced a relationship. The Paris Fashion Week appearance had sparked dating questions, but neither Cardi nor Okoye had confirmed the rumors.
Being seated together during two public outings does not automatically equal a romance, particularly when both gatherings involved other people.
Still, Okoye is not just a mystery man who happened to land beside Cardi at two fashionable European events. According to the Confederation of African Football, Okoye has represented Nigeria as a goalkeeper and was listed as an Udinese player when he returned to the country’s squad for its 2026 World Cup qualifying playoff campaign.
The 26-year-old athlete was born in Germany to a Nigerian father and a German mother. The outlet also reported that he developed his professional career in Germany and the Netherlands before joining Italian club Udinese in 2023.
The narrative is also benefiting from Okoye’s recent rise as an online heartthrob. Footage of the goalkeeper before a match against Portugal went viral in June 2026, attracting millions of views and earning him plenty of attention for more than his work in front of the net.
His sudden visibility means fans were already watching him before Cardi entered the picture. Pairing that momentum with Cardi’s celebrity power, Paris Fashion Week and a waterside dinner in Venice created the perfect recipe for internet speculation.
Cardi’s recent romantic history also adds another layer to the story. Cardi and NFL player Stefon Diggs welcomed a son in November 2025 and appeared to have an on-and-off relationship afterward.
When Diggs was asked about their status in June 2026, he described Cardi by saying, “That’s my child’s mother. I love her to death.” When directly asked whether they were still together, he responded, “You have to ask her.” Diggs also said the two were “Great,” but he did not confirm that they had officially reconciled.
For now, Cardi and Okoye have given the internet two visually convincing moments but no official answers. Paris introduced the possibility. Venice gave the rumors fresh life.
