A professional makeup artist says she was stunned to find what appeared to be cocaine inside a package from Sephora.

Christina, 30, of Hoboken, New Jersey, told the New York Post that she ordered more than $250 worth of cosmetics earlier this month. She says her order arrived with the foundation and false eyelashes she bought, plus a folded dollar bill tucked inside the shipment.

Christina says the bill held a good amount of white powder that she identified as cocaine, along with a small piece of plastic straw cut at an angle. She judged the substance by its look, and reports say it was not tested.

She also says the package, which shipped from Sephora’s distribution center in Maryland, held what appeared to be an employee ID badge. Nothing in the reports confirms how the items ended up in the box.

Christina says she contacted Sephora with photos and was told the matter was being investigated. She says the company offered a $100 credit and an email advised her to flush the items down the toilet. Sephora told CNN it investigated the matter, took appropriate actions, and has a zero tolerance policy for illegal substances in the workplace.

Christina said the experience made her angry, but she plans to keep shopping at Sephora.
