Ronnie Oneal III

A father who is on trial for murdering his daughter and girlfriend has gone viral after shocking footage of his opening statements hit the net.

Ronnie Oneal III, acting as his own lawyer, left jurors stunned on Monday when he yelled and rambled inside the courtroom.

“By the time it’s all said and done, you will see who is the mass murderers,” Oneal screamed at the panel.

Oneal is currently facing the death penalty for the 2018 murders of his girlfriend, 33-year-old Kenyatta Barron, and 9-year-old Ron’Niveya Oneal inside their Riverview, Florida home. According to Assistant State Attorney Scott Harmon, Barron can be heard on a 911 recording begging for her life, pleading, “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry. Help me.”

Oneal allegedly shot Barron and then beat her to death with the gun before grabbing a hatchet and killing Ron’Niveya with it. Investigators believe he then stabbed and burned his son. However, the boy survived the attack.

Despite the mountain of evidence against him and initially stating that he acted in self-defense, Oneal maintains that he did not harm his children nor girlfriend and that the case is based on lies.

“This whole entire case has been tampered with and fabricated,” Oneal stated. “My son did not witness me viciously beat his mom to death.”

The trial is expected to go through the next two weeks, with Oneal’s son having testified against him on Wednesday.
