A man was arrested on Thursday, May 10, after he allegedly broke into Rihanna’s Los Angeles area home while she was away.
According to TMZ, the man, Eduardo, got inside the night before after disabling the alarm system. TMZ reported that Rihanna’s assistant found him in the house and that officials said he had made himself comfortable while waiting for the singer to return. Police were called and he was taken into custody.
TMZ also reported, citing officials, that Eduardo told investigators he was there to meet Rihanna and that he did not plan to use force. Outlets reported that he was held on suspicion of burglary and stalking, with bail set at $150,000. No formal charges had been announced at the time of this post, and he is presumed innocent.
Rihanna had not publicly commented on the incident when this story was published.
