A 28 year old man named Jarred was reportedly found naked inside a home in Woodstock, Georgia, after entering through the doggy door, according to the Daily Mail.
A neighbor reportedly called police after seeing a man climb out of a truck and crawl through the dog door at the back of the house. When officers arrived, they reportedly found him inside without any clothes on. Police said he was told to put his hands up, and he reportedly hesitated while trying to cover himself.
Jarred reportedly told authorities that he knew the homeowner and did not want to bother him. He said he came in to shower, wash his clothes and use the Wi-Fi, and that he took his clothes off because they smelled like gas. Police reportedly found no sign that the shower or washing machine had been used.
The homeowner confirmed that he knew the man but said he had not given permission for him to enter. He told authorities he had suspected someone was in the house earlier in the year because the TV channel had been changed, the washer and dryer settings were different and the shower curtain had been moved. The two reportedly used to live together after the homeowner helped him recover from surgery, and he moved out about a year earlier.
Jarred was reportedly arrested and charged with first degree burglary. He is presumed innocent unless proven otherwise.
