Joseph, 27, who is charged in the death of Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s two year old son Tyrese, has been released from the Minnehaha County Jail in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, according to NFL.com and local reports.
His bond was reportedly lowered to $750,000 on Monday, and he posted $75,000 to be released. His attorney, Tim Rensch, confirmed the release and said it comes with no conditions. Rensch also said Joseph plans to stay in the area and defend himself against the charges. No reason for the bond reduction has been reported.
Joseph is the boyfriend of Tyrese’s mother and faces charges that include second degree murder, manslaughter and aggravated battery. Charges are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless convicted.
Our thoughts remain with Adrian Peterson and his family.
