Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are reportedly heading toward a divorce, according to TMZ.
TMZ reported on August 21, 2014 that the couple had hired lawyers and were working out how to split their assets and custody of their three year old twins, Moroccan and Monroe. The report also said the marriage hit trouble after Nick made comments on a radio show about having had a past encounter with Kim Kardashian.
Nick himself addressed the separation in an interview with The Insider, saying, “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.” He added that his main focus right now is his kids.
Neither Mariah nor Nick has publicly confirmed that a divorce has been filed, and Kim Kardashian has not publicly commented on the report. Earlier this summer there were reports of tension between the couple, and we will keep you posted as more details come out.
