The courtroom just got a whole lot hotter as Meagan Good and Durrell “Tank” Babbs officially lock in for Season 4 of “Reasonable Doubt.”
The Onyx Collective series, created by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, follows powerhouse defense attorney Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, played by Emayatzy Corinealdi. While Jax has been balancing trauma, marriage, motherhood, and high-profile cases, Season 4 throws her into even deeper waters. After a brutal attack shakes her family and law firm, everything around her starts to feel uncertain.
Good steps in as Regina Harris, the new district attorney, who is described as smart, compassionate, and no fool. She is expected to challenge Jax in ways that go beyond the courtroom, especially as tensions rise across Los Angeles. Elsewhere, Tank enters as Eric Cropper, a wealthy R&B star and longtime client of Jax. His character is charming but calculated, and he is used to getting what he wants at any cost. That dynamic alone is set to bring drama, especially with a media storm brewing around his situation.
The series already stars McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey, but this new addition shifts the energy. While a premiere date has not yet been revealed, production began in March 2026.
