The fight between Basketball Wives stars Tami Roman and Meeka Claxton in Italy has moved to the courtroom.
According to TMZ, Meeka has filed a lawsuit in New York accusing Tami of assault and battery. The two had been at odds for a long time, and sources close to the show say things came to a head last month in an Italian nightclub during filming.
In the lawsuit, Meeka claims Tami attacked her, pushed her to the ground and punched her, causing serious injury. She is seeking unspecified damages and says the fight cost her a day of filming and put her through physical and emotional hell.
Tami’s camp has not responded.
Meeka has ruffled plenty of feathers this season, and the two clearly couldn’t stand each other. But putting hands on someone is never the answer, and now a judge may get the final word on what happened in Italy.
