Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s interview with Oprah Winfrey aired on Sunday, and to say the tea was spilled is an understatement.

It’s no news to anyone that the Royal family had a hard time accepting Meghan. The constant terrorizing became so harsh that eventually, Meghan and Harry left the family. Her mixed roots and her acting career were all apparent signs that she was unfit. However, she never expected her son to be in the middle of such mistreatment.

According to the Duchess of Sussex, there were “concerns and conversations about how dark [Archie’s] skin might be when he’s born.”

When Oprah followed up asking who made such a remark, the Duchess refused to answer, stating the “the revelation would be too damaging.”

When the Duke was asked about the comments, he remarked, “that conversation I’m never going to share. It was awkward. I was a bit shocked.” Harry also revealed that the conversation of “what will the kids look like” happened very early on in his relationship with Meghan.

Meghan additionally shared that Archie was denied a royal title and royal protection.

“They didn’t want him to be a prince…which would be different from protocol, and that he wasn’t going to receive security,” Meghan shared.

According to People, “Archie was entitled to the ‘courtesy title,’ Earl of Dumbarton,” but the couple chose not to give him the title, making his name Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Archie could receive a royal title down the road when his grandfather, Prince Charles, becomes king.

Prince Harry, 36, and Meghan, 39, were married in a televised ceremony in 2018. However, they stayed in London for only a short time before returning to the United States.

To simply put it, “If we had the support, we’d still be there,” the couple affirmed, People reports.
