Love & Hip Hop star Mendeecees Harris was being held in the Bergen County Jail in New Jersey in early February 2013 after an indictment listing a series of charges, according to a published jail record.
Per that record, Harris was committed on January 30, 2013, with no bond set. The charges listed against him include promoting prostitution, criminal sexual contact, aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault by a guardian, endangering the welfare of a child, and sexual assault. It has been reported that he could face up to 20 years in prison if he is convicted.
These are allegations at this stage. Harris has not been convicted of anything, and he is entitled to the presumption of innocence. Baller Alert will pass along his side of the story as it becomes available.
