The children of music legend Michael Jackson are seriously considering taking legal action against the two men who were featured in the controversial documentary, “Leaving Neverland.”
According to Pagesix.com, Prince, Paris and Prince Michael II are considering a potential lawsuit for fraud, emotional distress, slander and misrepresentation against Wade Robson and James Safechuck for their appearance in the documentary, in which they made damning allegations of sexual abuse and molestation against Jackson, who died in June of 2009.
This news comes weeks after the Jackson family slammed the documentary for its lies and amid the resurfaced outrage over the formerly refuted allegations.
However, according to Page Six, money is not the primary motivation for the suit. Sources say if any money is awarded as a result of the suit, it will be given to charity, as the children are determined to ”carry forward [their father’s] legacy of philanthropy and humility.”
