A paternity lawsuit has been filed against Michael Jordan in Georgia, according to TMZ, which obtained the court documents.
According to TMZ, the suit was filed February 6 in Fulton County, Georgia by a woman named Pamela. In the filing, Pamela claims she became pregnant after a 1995 encounter with Jordan and gave birth to her son in June 1996. TMZ noted that Jordan was married at the time.
Pamela says in the legal papers that she welcomes a paternity test. She is asking the court for full custody and child support, and she wants Jordan to cover her son’s medical expenses. She also wants the judge to give her son Jordan’s last name.
Remember, these are claims made in a lawsuit. Paternity has not been established by a test or by a court. At the time of this report we had not seen a response from Jordan or his representatives, so we will keep an eye out for one.
