Despite Larsa Pippen previously claiming that Michael Jordan approved of her relationship with his son, the NBA legend says that is not the case.
The Air Jordan founder was spotted out in Paris over the weekend when the paparazzi bombarded him with questions about his son, Marcus, and Pippen. As the 60-year-old made his way to the waiting sprinter, one photographer asked him what he thought about the two dating. At first, Jordan laughed it off. However, once the cameraman asked Jordan more directly if he approved of the romance, he very bluntly yelled, “No!” followed by a stern head shake.
Larsa previously revealed on the “Tamron Hall Show” that Jordan was happy for the new couple, who went public with their relationship last year. However, it appears that is not true after all, which does not come as a surprise to fans. In Jordan’s 2020 docuseries, “The Last Dance,” he confirmed that he and Larsa’s ex-husband Scottie Pippen were no longer on speaking terms after years of playing together with the Chicago Bulls. Many have speculated that Larsa dating Jordan’s son after being married to his former teammate was a messy point of friction for all involved. Larsa and Marcus’s large age gap may also be to blame for Jordan’s disdain. Larsa is 48 with four kids from Pippen, while Marcus is just 32 with no kids of his own yet.
Neither Marcus nor Larsa has responded publicly to the sneaker mogul, and if they wish to get in his good graces, they won’t.
