Just nine months after Destiny’s Child’s Michelle Williams, opened up about struggling with depression, the songstress has checked herself into a mental heath facility to further address the issue.
According to TMZ, Williams has been in a facility outside of Los Angeles for the past several days, as she continues to dedicate herself to “increasing awareness of mental health.”
On Tuesday, the singer released a statement about journey in battling her illness, saying, “For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it’s time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your well being.”
