A middle school history teacher has been removed from the classroom for telling her students Donald Trump is still president. The California educator also made claims about COVID-19 and President Joe Biden’s son.
The politically charged comments were recorded by an eighth-grade student at Anacapa Middle School last month. The student, upset about the rant, told his mother after school that he would never get vaccinated and that Trump was still president.
“Hunter Biden, for example, is doing deals with China and Ukraine where he was funneling money illegally. He also had child pornography on his laptop. He was having sexual intercourse with his own niece,” the unidentified teacher can be heard saying in the recording.
The teacher also told the class that if you have a baby and are unvaccinated, they “don’t want to give it back.”
The school opened an investigation into the matter and did not condone the teacher’s remarks. The super intendant told the child’s mother that the entire class was transferred to another teacher.
It’s unclear whether the teacher is still employed by Ventura Unified, the district that oversees Anacapa.
