Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott’s spring break took a scary turn this week. Prescott and two teammates were attacked while attending a Waka Flocka concert in Panama City Beach, Florida, on Monday.
According to witnesses and video of the incident, Prescott was hit on the head with a bottle and kicked while he was on the ground. Witnesses said the group appeared to be attacked without provocation, and there was no evidence at the time that Prescott or his friends started the confrontation.
Prescott later tweeted that he is okay and said he would be heading back to Mississippi. Reports indicated he and his teammates suffered only minor injuries. No arrests had been reported when this post was published.
We are glad Dak is okay and wish him and his teammates a smooth recovery.
