A Mississippi teen is behind bars, and another is dead after a fight over a pair of Jordan sneakers.
According to the Daily News, Cassius Vaughn Hanzy, 16, was arrested on Sunday morning by Gulfport police and charged with the drive-by shooting. Upgraded charges are pending now that the victim has passed away.
The drive-by shooting occurred around 11 p.m. on Saturday after a physical altercation happened earlier in the day over the sneakers. Hanzy fired his gun into a car multiple times, hitting a 17-year-old inside the vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital in critical condition, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
