M&M’s is taking its iconic caramel candies to new heights—literally. The beloved candy brand just announced M&M’s POP’d, its first-ever freeze-dried candy, giving fans a crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth twist on a classic favorite.
The new treat captures the familiar caramel flavor but with a crispy, airy texture that’s unlike anything M&M’s has done before. Packaged in 5.5-ounce stand-up pouches, M&M’s POP’d will arrive in stores on November 10th at select M&M’s retail locations and expand nationwide in early 2026.
According to Mars Wrigley’s VP of Marketing, Martin Terwilliger, POP’d brings “a light, crispy crunch” that transforms how fans experience M&M’s caramel candy.
Freeze-dried snacks have become a viral favorite on TikTok, and M&M’s is tapping into that craze perfectly. Unlike chocolate M&M’s, the caramel-filled version holds its shape during the freeze-drying process, giving the candy a satisfying puffed texture that’s visually and deliciously irresistible.
