Mystikal has been indicted in Louisiana on charges of first degree rape and second degree kidnapping, according to KSLA.
The New Orleans rapper, whose real name is Michael Tyler, turned himself in at Caddo Correctional Center in August after a warrant was issued in connection with an alleged rape in October 2016. KSLA reports he said he wanted to “get this business reconciled, get this behind me.” A grand jury has now indicted him on one count each of first degree rape and second degree kidnapping, and his bond was set at $3 million.
According to reports, two others were indicted in the same case. Averweone was indicted on one count each of rape and kidnapping, with bond also set at $3 million. Tenichia was indicted on an obstruction of justice charge, with bond set at $500,000.
Public records show Tyler pleaded guilty to sexual battery and extortion in 2003 in an earlier, unrelated case and was released in 2010. An indictment is an accusation, not a conviction, and all of those charged are presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Baller Alert will keep you posted.
