Ryan Prophet of the group Nappy Roots took to social media over the Christmas holiday to share a personal claim about actress Stacey Dash, and the post is getting attention online.
Prophet said the two dated years ago. In a caption posted with a screenshot of an old text conversation, he wrote that seven years ago he met the woman of his dreams and that she later told him she was pregnant. According to Prophet, the relationship changed while she was pregnant, and he claims she ended the pregnancy at the request of another man.
Prophet added that he does not have children and said the holidays made the situation feel especially painful for him.
These are Prophet’s claims only. Stacey Dash has not publicly responded or confirmed anything he said, and we have not independently verified the screenshot or his account. Dash has been publicly outspoken about her personal beliefs in recent years, which is part of why the post is drawing so much conversation.
