Former RHOA star NeNe Leakes addressed speculation about her son Brentt’s sexuality after he participated in a viral TikTok challenge.
Miss Leakes was a special guest host on The Breakfast Club Monday and took time to address rumors that her son had come out.
The now viral TikTok video showed Brentt tossing something into a basket and intentionally missing, with the caption, “If I miss, I’m gay.”
During a catch-up with Charlamagne Tha God and DJ Envy, Leakes said she was flooded with messages asking if she saw Brentt’s TikTok and knew he was gay.  “I was like, he is?” she joked sarcastically.

“Brentt is not gay,” she told the co-hosts.  “Not to my knowledge.”

According to Leakes, she would support him 100% regardless of whether he was gay, but she says they previously spoke over the phone, during which he said, “I’m not gay, mom.”
She said several friends have reached out asking if she was aware of the TikTok video.

“What’s the big deal,” she said.

Later during the interview, Charlamagne argued that she should have asked Brentt, but she responded by stating why she didn’t need to.

“What I like to say to people is, your happiness is the most important thing, right?” Leakes said.  “As far as my son is concerned, it doesn’t matter.”
