Netflix is launching a TikTok-like feature on its iOS app aimed at attracting younger viewers to the platform.

The new “Kid Clips” feature will show short videos of children’s shows and movies from the streamer’s existing library. The short clips are similar to videos on TikTok or YouTube Shorts.

Netflix plans to add new content daily but will restrict children to viewing just 10 or 20 of the videos at a time. The goal is to show more of the content in Netflix’s catalog to viewers.

Bloomberg reports that “Kid Clips” will be viewed horizontally and take over the entire screen of the device they are streaming on.

The feature will make its debut this week in the United States, Canada, Ireland, and Australia. They will also be available in Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America.
