New Balance has enlisted the help of singer Monica, popularly known as “Goonica,” to be the face of their new “Performance Arts“ campaign.
In another gorgeous partnership with creative director Joe Freshgoods, the “Performance Art” collection includes New Balance 993 in three pastel colorways. “Arctic Blue,” “Sage,” and “Powder Pink” are the inaugural colors, though more may be in the works. Monica, regarded as one of the most stylish women in R&B, dropped images from her shoot with the brand on October 6th. In the photos, the “Angel of Mine” star wore the Arctic Blue 993’s that paired perfectly with her pastel color blocked pants suit. The official Instagram account for Joe Freshgoods shared a different view of Monica on a motorcycle rocking a Sage-colored jogging suit with the matching Sage 993s.
An off-white mesh base with top-of-the-line suede adorns every colorway in the “Performance Art” collection.
