RKelly’s ex “girlfriend” Azriel Clary is moving on with her life after leaving the singer’s house, and now, she plans on seeking counseling.
It’s a new day for Clary, 22, who had been living with Kelly in an allegedly abusive relationship since the age of 17. Now, the young woman says she felt brainwashed, manipulated, and mistreated by Kelly after initially saying Kelly was a good partner. Clary has finally reunited with her family where she is looking into counselors and therapists to heal, TMZ reports. The outlet reports that Clary’s family is only interested in rehabilitating her and getting her back on track with her life.
Clary spoke out about her experience on Friday, saying, “I never thought me and victim would ever be in the same sentence because I was too in denial.. but once you realize, you realize.” Clary just posted several photos of her and with her mother and father, Angelo and Alice Clary. Clary captioned the family photos, “surprise. Let the healing process begin. Love yall, and thank y’all. I even thank everyone who follows me.. because you all believed in me when I could not believe for myself.” She included the hashtag #movingontobetterdays.
Angelo told TMZ, “We are just enjoying these moments right now … enjoying being reunited as the Clarys.” The news comes just days after Clary was recorded getting into a physical altercation with Kelly’s other “girlfriend” Joycelyn Savage at the singer’s condo while she was moving out. Clary claimed Savage had sex with her despite her being a minor. Savage was booked for misdemeanor battery in the altercation.
