There are new details in the investigation into the killing of rapper XXXTentacion, who was 20.
According to TMZ, court documents allege that suspect Dedrick Williams likely knew who XXXTentacion was before the robbery and shooting. The documents reportedly cite surveillance footage from the motorcycle shop that shows two suspects walking past the rapper inside the store. Because XXXTentacion was well known in the area, investigators believe the suspects recognized him then or already knew who he was.
The documents then reportedly say the suspects waited about ten minutes for him to leave. When he walked out to his car, an SUV allegedly pulled in front of it to block him in, and the gunmen got out. He was shot multiple times, according to the report, and the suspects allegedly took a small bag from his car before fleeing.
These are allegations from court documents as reported by TMZ. Williams is a suspect in the case, the claims have not been proven in court, and Baller Alert has not seen a public statement from him or his attorney.
