A New Jersey woman was arrested at the Holland Tunnel after police said she skipped more than 500 tolls, according to ABC News.
Authorities say Denise, 55, owed more than $16,000 in unpaid tolls and fees. Police reportedly tried to stop her near the Holland Tunnel, but she drove through the toll again without paying. Officers stopped her on the other side of the toll plaza. She was charged with theft of services and obstruction of justice. The charges are allegations, and she had not been convicted at the time of this report.
ABC News also reports that she is one of several drivers recently charged with evading the Holland Tunnel’s $15 toll.
