When news broke of the college admissions scandal in March, the world was watching as details involving Hollywood actresses and six-figure payouts unraveled.

Now, viewers will really be able to tune in because a scripted adaptation of the bribery scam is in the works.

Deadline reported on Tuesday that Annapurna Television has optioned the rights to “Accepted,” an upcoming book from reporters Melissa Korn and Jen Levitz, who have covered the story for the Wall Street Journal.

The book details the scandal and focuses on the elite circle of parents who conspired with admissions counselors to secure acceptance for their children into top American colleges such as USC, Yale, and Georgetown. The parents include celebs like Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman who have been indicted in connection with the scandal.

Annapurna Television has tapped Emmy-award winning writer, DV Devincentis for the limited series and Sue Naegle, Ali Krug and Patrick Chu as producers.
