The NFL is looking to come to a common ground when it comes to the players’ non-violent protest of police brutality and racial injustices. Instead of forcing players to stand or penalizing players for kneeling, the league is considering allowing teams to make their own decision on the requirement.
According to Bleacher Report, team owners will take a vote on the matter in the forthcoming league meeting. However, the owners will also have the opportunity to discuss possibly nixing the protest altogether, in coming up with a league-wide policy that would require all players to stand, remain in the locker room or holding all players in the locker room until the anthem is over to settle the issue once and for all.

But, the owners will also have the opportunity to leave it how it is as well, which applies no restrictions on the players.

As the league continues to come up with suggestions and solutions concerning the player protests, the question remains: What about Colin Kaepernick?
