Claressa Shields’ name is trending in a messy friendship fallout after her friend Ni TheGoat called her out on Facebook while the boxing champion is reportedly out of the country with boyfriend Papoose.
Ni TheGoat Claims The Issue Is Bigger Than Money
In a series of heated posts, Ni suggested the situation involved more than a simple disagreement. Her posts appear to center around housing, rent payments, alleged media optics, and claims that her children were brought into the situation. According to the upcoming rapper, the boxer used her as a “charity case.”
“THEY TRIED TO USE ME AS A CHARITY CASE. Put me on the news and s**t like I was homeless so the state could grant 1 year free. We wasn’t going for that, so SHE SAID f**k the state; I can still do the year free because it’s HER HOUSE! Like, stop tryna make it seem like I was just here free for no reason. I didn’t wanna go on the news, but I still told her, as your friend she if that’s gone give YOU a good look, f**k it, let’s do it,” she wrote.
Ni also claimed she had been paying rent and challenged the other side to show proof.
“We started paying you RENT IN FEBRUARY when my man TOUCHED DOWN & got the LETTER TO VACAY end of FEB. Still sent you $600,” Ni stated, seemingly suggesting that Claressa wanted to spread a narrative that Ni was using her for free room and board.
Papoose Gets Dragged Into The Drama
The situation took a sharper turn when Ni mentioned Claressa being on vacation with Papoose, claiming the athlete was footing the bill for the trip.
“Claressa, you out of the country on YOUR DIME. Not a flex boo !!!! Where that Chanel Purse go that PAWNPOOSE BOUGHT YOU AND IT DISAPPEARED & YOU had to repurchase it YOURSELF BOO? Ni Says She Has Receipts
Despite the public callout, Ni suggested she would hold back on sharing intimate details.
“I literally KNOW HOW FAR I CAN GO !!! I can really CLEAR SOME S**T w/ Receipts. But ima do something BETTER !!!! Ima let her RICH A** have it & ima move forward gracefully …. I said enough & that was my warning for btcs to stop.”
