Nia Long has fans ready to sign NDAs after a steamy nightcap video she posted on X following the Academy Museum Gala went viral. She also shared photos from the night on Instagram, and between the two, the timeline has not recovered.

Long hit the sixth annual Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday, Oct. 17, in black satin with a plunging cowl neckline under a dramatic feathered shrug. She wore her hair in a sleek middle part bun, finished with bronzed glam by makeup artist @beautybychrisc. The look was pure Old Hollywood, and it fit the room.

After the gala, Long gave fans a closer look at the glam with a short nightcap video on X. The replies filled up fast. Fan after fan joked they were ready to sign a nondisclosure agreement on the spot for one evening with her, while others pointed out that she has looked this good for more than three decades.

Nia Long did not walk in alone. She posed on the carpet with Jaafar Jackson and Tyriq Withers, and was photographed alongside director Antoine Fuqua and producer Graham King. Long played Katherine Jackson in “Michael,” the Michael Jackson biopic that crossed $1 billion at the worldwide box office this year. The gala raised money for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures and honored Colman Domingo, Charlize Theron and John Carpenter.
The viral moment caps a big stretch for Nia Long. In September, the Hollywood Walk of Fame announced she will receive a star in the Motion Pictures category, with Graham King and Snoop Dogg among the scheduled speakers.
Fans who grew up on “Boyz n the Hood,” “Friday,” “Love Jones” and “The Best Man” have been calling her one of the finest to ever do it for years. One video after one night out, and the paperwork is already getting passed around.
