Nia Riley is spilling the tea about her turbulent relationship with Soulja Boy. Riley recently spoke with Youtuber Tasha K about the abuse she suffered between 2013 and 2019.
Riley claims that the couple’s constant fights on Love & Hip Hop Hollywood, as well as Soulja’s assault on her on Marriage Boot Camp, was just the tip of the iceberg.
She admitted that she used to sleep with pepper spray because “I’ve had black eyes, I’ve had bruises on my breasts because I was being hit so hard.”
She claims Soulja kicked her in the stomach while she was pregnant. When Tasha K asked if he was aware of her pregnancy, she said yes.
“He absolutely knew I was pregnant. I was like 15 weeks. I don’t think I had told anybody else that I was pregnant because, truthfully, in my mind, I didn’t know what I was going to do or what I wanted to do. And I was in LA, so I had some time.”
Nia claims that shortly after the incident, she miscarried.
During the interview, Tasha K asked Riley if her Father, Teddy Riley, was aware of the violence she was enduring, and she said that he didn’t know.
When she finally admitted that it was all too much, Soulja put a gun to her head and prevented her from leaving.
She recalled, “I got up, got my purse, and was halfway down the stairs when I felt him press it to the back of my head.” She explained, “I just sat down on the stairs, and he just sat behind me for about an hour.”
To make matters worse, several people were present at the time of the incident. She said, “He had friends there who would just stand around and watch him, and no one would say anything.”
Physical abuse allegations against the 30-year-old rapper are nothing new. He is reportedly embroiled in a legal fight with a former assistant, who claims the rapper kept her hostage, sexually assaulted her, and raped her several times during their time together.
