Nick Cannon recently opened up about “needing help” with his battle with Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) on an episode of his Counsel Culture podcast.

Cannon revealed he was diagnosed with the condition after noticing signs of it in his own behavior.

“I still don’t understand it all the way, but I kind of always wanted to get tested for it,” he said, mentioning his previous diagnoses with ADHD and dyslexia.

“I’m healing. I need help. Show me,” he said. “I just embrace mental health and therapy in such a strong way.”

Cannon discussed how his NPD diagnosis has shaped his life and his ongoing efforts to become a better version of himself. He emphasized the importance of seeking help and using his journey to inspire others to embrace their own healing process.

For those unfamiliar with NPD, Mayo Clinic notes that individuals with the disorder often struggle with empathy and have an inflated sense of self-importance.

Despite the challenges, Cannon is committed to his healing process and has openly discussed his experiences with mental health and therapy.
