According to reports, Jennifer Hough requests a $20 million default judgment from Nicki Minaj and her husband for harassment and witness intimidation.

Hough’s attorney, Tyrone Blackburn told the Daily Beast that he received an email from Minaj’s attorney Judd Burstein “in which he requested that Blackburn withdraw the petition and give an extension to answer.”

“I said NO!” Blackburn told the outlet via email. “I told him to prepare his opposition to my request for default judgment and explain to the court why his client and her husband believe they’re both above the law.”

Kenneth Petty, Minaj’s husband, was convicted of first-degree attempted rape against Hough in 1995, despite the fact that she was previously unnamed in the case due to her young age. Petty first rejected the claims, but subsequently pleaded guilty and served four and a half years in prison.

When Hough appeared on “The Real” last month to discuss her experience with Petty, she claimed that he had grabbed her by the jacket while she was making her way to school. He then pulled her to an unknown residence when she felt something being pushed against her back, which was later described to be a knife.

Shortly after the incident, Hough reported Petty to the police.

Hough also told “The Real” that she and her family were forced to relocate after the assault. On August 21, 2020, she filed a lawsuit against Minaj and her husband, stating they were torturing her and her family to get her to drop the lawsuit.

According to court documents filed in the US District Court for Eastern District of New York, Petty was accused of breaking his plea deal by pressuring Hough “not to speak out.”
