Nicki Minaj is branching out into the world of fashion and footwear!
Last week, Nicki revealed her new sneaker brand in collaboration with Loci, set to launch on April 12th. The collection boasts 11 unique designs, which she calls an “absolute dream come true.”
“4/12 = 11 new pairs of my OWN sneakers. 11 completely different designs for you to choose from. An absolute dream come true. I can’t WAIT for you guys to see my 1st collection!!!! Link in bio to SIGN UP NOW,” the rapper announced on Instagram. “Thank you to my team for helping make this dream a reality. This isn’t a sponsorship. I’m an owner & partner & we will unveil the first complete collection on 4/12. Love you BARBZ. THANK YOU.”
Her Instagram post included a sneak peek of one design, featuring a gum sole in a striking Twizzler hue with coordinating laces. The sneaker’s body is a lively bubblegum pink, with one side panel adorned with the distinctive Loci logo—a slashed zero glyph. A portrait of Nicki herself decorates the sneaker’s tongue.
In the midst of this exciting venture, Nicki continues her Pink Friday 2 World Tour. She recently delivered a memorable performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where she surprised fans by bringing 50 Cent on stage. Tonight, she’s set to enchant the crowd once again at the Capitol One Arena in Washington D.C., fueling anticipation among her fans.
