Nicki Minaj is celebrating the success of her Pink Friday 2 Tour by bringing it back to the United States.
The rapper, currently on the European leg of her record-breaking tour, made the announcement on Friday. Minaj first teased her fans with news to share, causing #NickiAnnouncement to trend online. Thankfully, she didn’t keep the Barbz waiting for long.
“We did it, Barbz…The first U.S. leg of the #PinkFriday2 #GAGCITY TOUR was SO SUCCESSFUL, I was offered a 2nd leg beginning in SEPTEMBER. Sign up now & tkts will go on sale in a few more days. Wow. Wow. Wow. Wow. God is good. Don’t you ever give up. You got this,” Minaj wrote on Twitter.
Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 World Tour has already been declared the highest-grossing tour of any female rapper. She has earned roughly $67 million from her shows in the U.S. and Canada alone. Minaj set out on the road in March, months after releasing her album, “Pink Friday 2.” She also unveiled a line of press-on nails and sneakers, coinciding with the project and tour.
The second leg of the U.S. dates will include Tampa, Birmingham, Cleveland, Dallas, Miami, and more. This announcement left her loyal fanbase rejoicing online, with some even ready to catch the show again, despite having already attended.
