The Nicki Minaj subscription on X is live, and it runs $10 a month. She announced it to her 26.6 million followers with a post that opened with “I finally did it,” then described the paid tier as a space where fans could laugh, argue, get emotional and be themselves without the noise of the open timeline.

The subscribe page lists exclusive posts as the core perk, and her announcement added exclusive Spaces, which are the live audio rooms X users can host and listen in on. Subscribers also get a badge that appears next to their name whenever they reply to her, which is the piece that actually moves a fanbase like hers. It turns her replies into a room where paying fans are visibly separated from everybody else, and for the Barbz, being seen by her has always been the currency.
In its opening days the page showed 1.1K subscribers. At $10 a head, that is roughly $11,000 a month, or about $132,000 a year if the number holds. The Nicki Minaj subscription sits inside X Creator Subscriptions, a program where X takes no revenue share of its own. Creators keep up to 97 percent of gross, with the missing slice going to Apple and Google app store fees and payment processing. Once a creator crosses $50,000 in lifetime earnings, the rate steps down to 90 percent. So at current volume she is clearing somewhere in the neighborhood of $10,000 a month from the paid tier before taxes, and every new subscriber is recurring money rather than a one time payment.
