A New York jury has reached a verdict in the child rape trial of Nicki Minaj’s brother. According to TMZ, Jelani Maraj was found guilty of predatory sexual assault against a child and endangering the welfare of a child after a trial that lasted nearly three weeks.
Maraj had pleaded not guilty. Prosecutors accused him of sexually assaulting a young girl who was a child at the time, and the case went to the jury after testimony from the child and a family member. Experts also testified about DNA evidence that was presented at trial.
