Last year, Nipsey Hussle, real name Ermias Asghedom, found himself on the wrong side of the law when he was popped for the alleged possession of codeine as well as driving with a suspended license. His attorney later clarified these accusations to be a false claim, stating that the rapper’s car was parked and the drug was prescribed for his severe strep throat condition.
Whatever the case may be, Hussle seems to be coming up on the positive end of this situation. It’s been reported that he only has to serve two more days in jail for the crime.
According to TMZ, prosecutors have come to an agreement with the rapper’s legal team to dismiss the codeine charge in accordance with his no contest plea. Hussle was credited with three days served and will serve the remaining sometime before July 1.
Good news for Nipsey Hussle, especially following T.I.’s disclosure that he and longtime girlfriend, Lauren London, are expecting.
