The NYPD has made an arrest in connection to the fatal shooting of Harlem drug lord Alberto “Alpo” Martinez.

27-year-old Shakeem Parker, who was apparently already in custody on Rikers Island for a previous gun case, was charged with murder and weapons possession in the Oct. 31 hit, NYPD revealed.

“Detectives gathered information that he was the shooter,” a police spokesman said.

Martinez was driving a dark, red pickup truck when several shots were blasted through the car’s window in the early hours of Oct. 31, 2021. Police found him gasping for air and shot at least five times after his car crashed following the ambush.

He was rushed to a Harlem hospital but succumbed to his injuries.

The drug kingpin turned federal witness became notorious in the 1980s. Cam’ron immortalized him in the now-classic film “Paid In Full,” which is based on the real-life stories of his infamous crew of drug dealers from the ’80s.

He was released from a Colorado prison in 2015 and entered in the witness protection program after testifying against former associates. He had been serving more than 20 years for his role in 14 murders.
