Days after being hospitalized following a shooting in South Florida, Offset is speaking out for the first time about his recovery and mindset moving forward.
The rapper took to social media to reassure fans while reflecting on the incident, writing, “Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good….but I’m planning to be better!”
Offset continued, “I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses…. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win.”
His statement comes after police alleged the shooting stemmed from an altercation involving Lil Tjay’s associates at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, where authorities claim a fight escalated into gunfire.
In an additional update, a spokesperson confirmed Offset’s condition has significantly improved, stating, “Offset has been released from the hospital and he is up and walking. We’re incredibly grateful to the doctors, nurses, and the entire hospital staff who took such great care of him.”
Offset now appears focused on recovery and returning to music following the incident.
