Offset says he is still rooting for Cardi B’s success, despite their messy divorce.
Catching up with TMZ in Los Angeles, the Migos rapper was surprisingly open about his ex-wife’s music.
“That s**t hard,” Offset said when asked about Cardi’s upcoming album, “Am I the Drama?,” which drops September 19th. “She’s gonna do her big one.”
Offset, who recently released his own album “Kiari,” reflected on how personal that project was for him.
“It was an album that meant a lot to me, after my name. Just me being personal, me being vulnerable, about life, and people like it… that’s a blessing, man,” he explained.
Despite public tension, Offset made it clear he’s focused on unity.
“I just want all peace, man. For us to win, everybody gotta win. We got kids to take care of, we got to catch the dubs,” he said.
The pair share three children: Kulture, Wave, and their youngest, Blossom. Though their romantic chapter has closed, both stars seem committed to pushing forward in their careers and co-parenting journey. Cardi has moved on to NFL star, Stefon Diggs, while Offset is reportedly dating a new woman as well. Still, their divorce is not yet final.
