On Friday night, Nicki Minaj‘s husband Kenneth Petty, shared a video featuring two other men in which he stated his intention to locate Offset. Although there hasn’t been any public feud between Kenneth and Offset, there is a well-documented history of tensions between their spouses. This video release coincides with Cardi’s recent subtle tweet after the VMAs, saying, “I ain’t even flinch.”
In the video, Kenneth and his two companions engage in a verbal confrontation directed towards the rapper. Their aim was to confront him in person. However, it’s worth noting that while they were searching for him in New York City, Offset happened to be live on Twitch in Atlanta alongside Kai Cenat. In the video, one of the men standing alongside Kenneth can be heard speaking, ““Offset, where you at?”
“You n*ggas nervous, man. You boys p*ssy for real. You b*tches is nervous,” Kenneth say, adding, “What’s up, man? What’s going on? What y’all trying to do?”
Offset quickly caught wind of the video and seemed unbothered the threats.
“I’m getting off a jet, and he’s funny,” Offset said, laughing. “F*ck these n*ggas talmbout? We hoppin’ off jets, n*gga. Talmbout ‘outside.’ Extremely broke!”
Nevertheless, speculation has arisen regarding the feud with rumors suggesting it may have originated from a direct message that Offset sent to Nicki’s team following her VMAs performance. However, as of now, there is no concrete evidence to support this claim.
In the past, Cardi and Nicki did have a massive feud in 2018, marked by a series of public exchanges. However, Nicki eventually chose to end the back-and-forth by posting a positive message on social media.
Since then, the two rappers have occasionally engaged in public disagreements, only to later temporarily resolve and move past their conflicts.
