A 20 year old Ohio man is accused of hiding under a teenage girl’s bed in Cincinnati for about three weeks and sexually assaulting her, according to prosecutors.
Jaret, of Barberton, Ohio, has been held at the Hamilton County Justice Center since March 13, according to reporting by People, the Associated Press, the Akron Beacon Journal and Oxygen. The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office said he and the girl met on Instagram. She is a minor, and her name has not been released.
Prosecutors allege he held the girl down and raped her during the weeks he stayed in the home, and that she was the only person who knew he was there until her mother found him and police were called. Authorities have not said whether the girl invited him to stay or whether he left the house during that time.
According to jail records, he is charged with three counts of rape and one count of illegal use of a minor in nudity oriented material. Oxygen reports his bond was set at $50,000. It was not clear whether he had an attorney who could comment. A charge is an accusation, not a finding of guilt.
