Ohio Teacher’s Aide Accused Of Raping 12-Year-Old Student; Had A Two Week Relationship

A 33-year-old former teacher’s aide at a middle school In Ohio has been charged with raping a 12-year-old student.

According to the Daily Mail, Mandy Davis worked at Teays Valley West Middle School and had a two-week “relationship” with the student between April 26 and May 11.

The criminal complaint obtained by the outlet states the teacher raped the student in her Bloomfield, Ohio home.

Another employee at the school noticed the “odd relationship” between Davis and the student and reported it to school administrators, who investigated the issue.

Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant to go inside her home, where they found enough evidence to arrest Davis.

She faces serious charges, including first-degree rape, third-degree gross sexual imposition, and fourth-degree unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, all felonies, and arraigned in Circleville, Ohio court on Thursday.

Davis has since been fired.

‘We take these allegations very seriously and are committed to the safety and well-being of our students as our first priority,’ the district said in a statement.
