OJ Simpson Thought He Was In Hell After Waking Up From Recent Surgery to Wu-Tang Music Playing

O.J. Simpson - Twitter

OJ Simpson dropped in recently on another episode of Cam’ron and Mase’s show ‘It Is What It Is,’ and he revealed a telling revelation.

A ‘very interesting week’ is how the former NFL great described his past few days. Potentially needing to have open heart surgery, Simpson explained that he had been falling asleep at stoplights and decided to consult his doctor, who advised him to come in immediately.

“Next thing I know, I got two crews of people talking about opening my chest and doing stuff to my heart.”

Doctors ultimately decided to go through his wrist for this procedure as he was put to sleep. Simpson said he woke up a little earlier than expected from the surgery.

“And I wake up in the middle of this and they’re, like, blasting the Wu-Tang crew. And I’m thinking, ‘What is that I’m hearing?’ and it was the Wu-Tang crew. You know, I guess some people when they do surgeries they play Bach or they play Chopin or something. But I’m hearing the Wu-Tang crew.”

Simpson looks up, referring to heaven, and follows it by saying, “Oh I know they ain’t playing this up here.” He then looks down (referring to hell) and says, “Am I down here?”

Cam’ron and Mase die laughing and then, Mase asks the question we all wanted to know.

“Was the song protect your neck?”

Hilarious!
