A viral OnlyFans model burglary case is turning heads as prosecutors lay out a pattern of alleged deception and theft across Los Angeles. Authorities say 28-year-old Adva Lavie, known online as Mia Ventura, built trust through dating apps before targeting victims’ homes between 2023 and 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Lavie connected with wealthy older men and younger women across Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles, and Beverly Hills. She allegedly used those relationships to gain access, then took off with the valuables.
“She is accused of posing as a girlfriend and travel companion to gain access to victims’ homes and then stealing cash, gold, and high-end designer items,” prosecutors said in a statement on Tuesday, March 24.
The situation picked up more attention after podcast host Michael Sartain shared his experience. He told KTLA that during a live election night episode, Lavie allegedly disappeared into a greenroom and went through personal belongings.
“She got up at the 45-minute mark, and she was gone for 45 minutes and just went through everyone’s bag,” Sartain said.
Prosecutors have now charged Lavie with six felonies, including grand theft and residential burglary. District Attorney Nathan Hochman said, “This ruling means the evidence in this case will now be presented before a jury. At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them.”
Lavie has pleaded not guilty and is currently out on an ankle monitor. She is expected back in court on April 6.
