The former Disney star and rapper took to Instagram Live with an emotional plea directed at Ray J, calling on the entertainer to prove he’s clean before they work together. In a passionate message, Brown revealed that he offered Ray J an opportunity, but only if he could confirm he was sober.

“I mean, I know how much you like to go viral, and I know how much you want to be the king of viral again, but that title you have lost,” Brown said. “I asked you over 48 hours ago to post your test results, because I wanted to work with you, but I’m not going to work with you if you’re hot.”

Brown claimed he had a “bag” waiting for Ray J, hinting at a possible collaboration, but made it clear that sobriety was the price of admission. “I don’t even know if you care, because you just… You’re everywhere right now, bro,” he continued.

He wrapped the video by issuing a firm ultimatum: “If you’re not sober, I don’t want to deal with you. I’m not doing no challenge with you. This is a challenge. It’s called the Get Sober Challenge. Okay? And you failed.”
