Osundairo Brothers Call Jussie Smollet a “Super Villain” Who Tried To Seduce One Of Them Before Attack

Osundairo Brothers

A new podcast is giving the men who conspired with Jussie Smollett a chance to tell their story, shedding more light on the 2019 hoax.

“Attacking Jussie: The Osundairo Brothers Story” debuted on Monday and featured exclusive interviews with brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo. The personal trainers helped Smollet pull off the fake racial attack and spoke with host and executive producer of the podcast, Charlie Webster, about the hoax, which made national news.

According to the brothers, Smollett tried to “seduce” Abimbola with a massage at his home shortly before the attack. He maintains he declined the massage and did not have a relationship with Smollet, as it was portrayed in the media.

The six-part program is a companion podcast to Fox Nation’s docu-series, “Jussie Smollett: Anatomy of a Hoax,” which also debuted Monday. In the doc, the brothers referred to Smollett as a “super villain.” Elaborating on that point in the podcast, they explained the reason they called him this is because of his continued commitment to the lie that Trump-supporting racists in Chicago attacked him.

The Osundairo brothers also believe they wrongly received a bulk of the outrage while Smollett was initially seen as a victim. Both men believe that aspect has everything to do with classism and the fact that he was famous and they were not.

Last year, Smollett was sentenced to 150 days in jail for faking the attack. However, he was released after seven and remains free while he appeals his case. He has continuously maintained his innocence. In the documentary, the brothers confirmed Smollet paid them $3,500 to beat him up to further his activism career.

“Attacking Jussie: The Osundairo Brothers Story” is available now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
